This isn't Johnny's unfinished Rally Project, is it?

Not the right color from last time I saw it. I wouldn't be surprised if that is one of Azm's projects.

I disagree!
Granted, it will help with the rudimentary fundamentals.
But, only once you've driven through the forest at speed will you realize how little WAX prepares you for stage rally.
Just about everyone who thought they knew what to expect from their first stage, including those that were fast at WAX/solo2, agrees with this.

I'm not saying rally is tougher, better, and I'm certainly not being elitist... it is just different.

I have created new thread regarding rally cars at http://cscc.speedracer.ca/forums/index.php/topic,9594.0.html
Thank you for answers.

Regarding AutoX and rally - am not expert in either. But I have tried AutoX and I tried rally for stock cars. I feel big difference:
1) Speed is different
2) You don't know and you don't see all corners on rally stage so work with co-pilot is very important here. You cannot be 100% prepare for something hidden by the corner so you drive in different style (at list I am)
3) Safety. On AutoX I am not afraid anything, there is nothing to hit. Rally stage is different. I drive with more concern, its totally different feeling when you see precipice on external side of the corner instead of flat parking lot.

So is it done? Is that what he was hinting to shake down at winter autox? I've never been since Dec.

Also the vex website isn't updated. And I haven't been to WSC in a while.

Sorry for O.T.
