I know it's happened a few times in the past.  But curious if anyone knows if there are any plans for having a first aid course at the club house. I have heard a few rally people need to get recertified including myself and jaclyn.  is there anyone else?

Vicar's rally car is progressing quickly now, so I'll need to re certify shortly.

2 more years of a 3 year cert. but everyone recommends that you redo the coarse every year.

I'd be interested as well, as mine expires this year, and I plan to be in a rally car in time for kananaskis 2010

I'd be in... and likely my driver too.

Time and fees?

It's pretty easy to coordinate, we just need to get in touch with St. John Ambulance and book it.

Any chance I could get a volunteer to put it together (Kris/Jaclyn?)... it would be really helpful.

I think I need to recertify, how many years is it good for?

The First aid course will be the evenings of February 25 and 26th.

In addition to the Emergency First Aid course, this will include a rally specific workshop held in mid to late March.  Obviously, the workshop is a new initiative - and is designed to address possible issues with on stage accidents, extrication from rally cars, fire extinguisher use, etc.

The course will be held at Global Paramedic Services at their facility on 42nd Ave SW. near Macleod Trail.

The cost will be $125 including the workshop.  The workshop portion should be available to those who have a current First Aid Certificate.  The price for this is TBD.

More to follow...

What's the adress for the facility? And what time does the program start in the evening?
