With the prospect of a few new competitors, and a lot of people showing interest, I'm thinking of putting on a short 'first rally survival' class.

Leanne and I had hoped to put together a co-driver school before Cochrane, but that isn't going to happen. (Look for it before Rocky though)

This class would cover the basics of what you need to know for your first event from Supp regs to opening a champaign bottle. It isn't going to be in-depth, but it should answer most of your questions.

I'm looking at Sunday March 21, starting at 6:30pm at the CSCC Clubhouse.
$25 per person, free with a minimum 3 hours confirmed volunteer time at the CSCC booth at World of Wheels.

Post here or contact me directly at Keith at Morison dot ca (note one R and .ca)

This sounds like a great idea! Nicole and I will be there for sure! I am still looking forward to the co-driver school though.

Sounds like a great idea. Clap  And I'll probably do another 30hr weekend at the booth so the price is perfect.

Crap...that explains the poor turnout. (makes it more confusing how one team did show up)

I'm not around for the weekend of Mar 21, ... I'll post the materials online for people to review.

Oh it was Feb 21? I was wondering why the course was after the Cochrane Rally.

Ya... I'm totally confused. I was thinking it was going to be Mar 21 evening... ie after the Rally School.

hahaha, epic.

it says March in the first post and that earlier was unlikely, I thought it strange it was after Cochrane.

well the one team must have gotten some awesome information  Clap

It was intended to smooth the path for people entering Cochrane ... my mistake.
Notes and handouts will be posted soon. Questions will be encoraged.
