Just wondering if the cscc chicanes the straights at stratotech or would we get to play at full speed?

Last year we had 1 small chicane on the long straight just to slow it down a bit.  Nothing like all the cones set up by Speedway when they use it to keep everybody below about 90kph.  I can't speak for the committee, but I expect it will be similar to last year.

5.0 Fugitive is correct, we will be using a chicane again this year.  It might be slightly more aggressive than last year.

Thanks, I was just wondering because the speedway events are fun but the chicanes are quite overdone and when people do hit the cones, no one replaces them, so you can either go even further around the messed up cones or destroy your intercooler for a good time.
I am a definate maybe, I'll figure it out in the next couple days.

I'm out unless I can get a new 3rd gear syncro installed in time.  It looks to be an easy job, just not sure about the wait time on parts.  At least I took out 3rd gear at stratotech, just not with the cscc. Crying or Very sad

Darn, I was hoping to see you out there! Can't you just rev match really carefully?

Yeah, it still goes into third but flat shifting 2-3 is a lot more fun and i'd like to fix it before i'm replacing gears as well as the syncro which I know is shot.

I miss you too, Philip.  Have fun and stay safe.  Lots of cars went off last night and some did damage.

Each driver will need to go through a "mini school" and must be signed off by a instructor prior to driving Solo.  Similar to last year.
