I have 101 excuses why I'm slow.

On the topic of helmets -- are there any local shops that offer discounts to CSCC members?  I know WSCC has a shop that gives them deals, but haven't seen anything like that here.  I have an M95 helmet, but it's time for an upgrade!

I don't know about discounts, but Blackfoot Motosports has an M2005 helmet for around $80.

That's in my price range.  Wink  I'll try to pick one up this weekend.

Thanks!

Blackfoot use to provide a discount when you mentioned you were from CSCC. (not sure anymore)

RCI Helmets are pretty cheap if your looking for SA rating.

I bought mine for $80 from Walt Healey Motorcycles. And GW Motorcycles on Barlow are good.  Ask about a CSCC discount at either and they most likely will give you one!
Better service then at Backfoot!

You should be fine, as the old spec doesn't expire until the new one is actually available - and I think Shawn posted earlier that 2010-spec helmets won't be available until later this year. Shawn did have a posting on helmet specials through rallysport.ca, btw, which were some excellent deals on better quality M and SA helmets in the Sponsor's Marketplace section
