Amazing SM build by STS National Champion Jason Rhoades

We shall see the competition in SM this year; Anthony, it's not fun to be one of the SMers.

Haha...not saying that people in SM are slow, but their cars are well prepared to the rules and the top drivers have a lot of discretionary income to support the car and enough time dedicated towards the project.

You still have a big game going on in GS though, it's just you don't have to spend as much as modified cars; most importantly, there is less hassle to baby the car.

People on other forums say this guy is an aero engineer...not everyone has the capability to test out the aerodynamics on their cars as this guy has.

It would cost me a lot of money to Full prep for GS......

Don't know how much are you looking at to prep your car in a stock class but I am sure you are no where close to a SP or SM car which is what I am saying.

BTW, it seems that Alonso will have a tough season with his young fellow.

I know what your saying Philip... Most of the Crazy SM car I have seen for sale the own's est. of cost to build the car is 100-120K I'm sure some cost even more.

For GS... 27-35K for the car and 3-25K in Parts..... I'm the 27 and 3

BTW, it seems that Alonso will have a tough season with his young fellow.

three Drive are Tied for frist right now it should be a great season

To be honest I do not know what I'll be running yet, but I'll be running in one of two stock classes for sure.  I am sure you guys would have fun in GS even if I am in another class.

btw, I just got the new car today, but I don't think I'll be able to get the most out of it for a while yet.... so it will be a learning year for me if I decide to do solo2 in it.

I'm not going to be at many events this year..
Had to replace the clutch recently and the tranny was damaged ,so I'm
now getting that replaced too...

The Stang is dead too. Might be expensive to fix.

The wife's not happy with my cars right now....

I wouldn't say

. I don't see any thing with the exception of a computer generated graphic for an unbuilt, untested wing that you can't see here in Calgary. War has taken the "school bus" to a whole level beyond this project. I can think of some other cars around here that are in the ball park Neal,Rod,me or beyond it Daryl, Daryl, Jay.

Speaking of SM....SM2 specifically...

I hear Andy McKee's SM2 National-Championship-winning RX7 (red one) is for sale (it's in the San Francisco area).  Dunno know what he wants for it.....lots, lots of money in it....and a new engine last year I recall.

At the El Toro Pro Solo he beat Eric Strelnicks 3-rotor RX7 fairly handily (relatively speaking)......I must say both of those cars appear to be a handful to drive with the huge HP......  I believe those are the two top SM2 cars in the US today.
